The Legacy Last Crusade Hero Jacket
We are very pleased and excited to release our very Special and long-awaited Custom Made Legacy Last Crusade Hero Jacket.
This jacket is cut from Our Original Patterns and is made from the soft brown lambskin that we have been working on and is the closest you will get too the original in terms of colour, thickness, and most of all the great undertone so once this jacket is distressed it will look just like the original.
This jacket will come as standard in the New Original Brown Lambskin and whilst stocks last they will also come with the 100% ORIGINAL GENUINE BERMANS & NATHANS LABEL which will make these very special jackets. (only whilst stocks last)
But as Wested Leather have been in the Film & TV business for over 40 years we know that our customers do like to have a choice apart from the standard options, so we are going to also offer our normal options as well to keep everybodys options open for their perfect jacket.
Much the same as Indiana Jones travelled the globe in search of The Ark of the Covenant, many a budding adventurer has been tirelessly seeking the most authentic version of the original Last Crusade Leather Jacket... And here it is again by Wested Leather.
The Wested Leather Last Crusade HERO Jacket is as close as you can come to the real thing... unless you steal one from the Smithsonian Museum or the Lucasfilm Archive, neither of which we recommend.

I literally feel like Indiana Jones in this jacket. This is easily the finest jacket I’ve ever owned. Superb quality. Don’t overthink the size. I’m 6’3” with a 38” chest measurement and the default measurements for a 38” chest were perfect. Delivery was quick considering I live on the east coast in the US.

What can I say? It’s an excellent jacket. It is buttery smooth and the fit is on point. Personally, I went down a size in the chest. I measured at 43.5” and I selected a 42. And I’m glad I did. It was the right choice for a more “fitted” Last Crusade jacket. Upon receiving the jacket, I immediately put it on and fell in love.
Afterwards, I started the distressing process. I had pictures pulled up of Harrison Ford in “the Last Crusade” and used them for reference. If you plan on distressing this jacket, I found that sandpaper was NOT needed. I used a rough scrubbing pad and it distressed beautifully. The jacket has reddish-brown undertones just like in the movie. It was so simple to distress and a very enjoyable experience as it gave the jacket more character. The distressing really brought this jacket to life.
Again, this jacket is perfect for me. I’m so glad I ordered one through Wested. I could not be happier with the outcome.
If you’re wondering if you should order one, I would suggest you do it. But, here are my caveats: 1) Get your measurements right. Measure twice. Make sure your measurements are exactly where you want them. 2) This is the exact same cut as used for Harrison Ford in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.” Which means, if you have a similar body shape as Harrison, then this will be an almost perfect jacket for you. If you don’t, then you may notice some nuance differences that you may not be completely satisfied with. Just keep that in mind when ordering a Hero Legacy.

I had to get a custom one cause I’m a bigger guy and recommend if you have larger upper arms to go with the LC it feels comfortable on me right away and sits nice. I got the sleeves a tad too long so had to get those altered but now it fits great! Legacy leather looks great almost black until you see it in daylight and the rich dark brown shows well.

CHEST - Measure under your arms, under the fullest part of your chest

PIT TO PIT - Pit To Pit is the actual measurement of a jacket laid flat, zipped up and measured from one side to the other (It is Not Your Body Measurement)

SLEEVE LENGTH - Measure the arm from the top of your shoulder down to where you want the cuff to end
D
BACK LENGTH - Measure from the nape of your neck to where you want the jacket to end
E
SHOULDER - Measure from the neck to the end of the shoulder
For best results, take measurements over a t-shirt. If your measurements fall between sizes, we suggest that you size up for a better fit.
